Embracing a diverse workforce, we value our employees through different reward schemes and continuous learning opportunities.Our motto is simple: delivering exceptional service every day.The Role in a Nutshell:An exciting opening is available for a full-time part-qualified accountant to join the finance team on a permanent basis, supporting the business's significant growth in recent years and beyond.Based at our Dublin headquarters and reporting to the Finance Manager, this role offers full financial accountability for a specific set of contracts within our portfolio, managing them from inception to completion.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in the month-end reporting process and producing monthly management accounts including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reconciliations with comparisons to budget and forecasts.
  • Utilizing analytical skills to address a wide range of commercial issues beyond traditional finance functions.
  • Fostering a collaborative partnership between finance and operations to steer business decisions and strategies.
  • Engaging with contract managers on financial and commercial aspects of contracts to maintain a controlled environment and enhance profitability.
  • Communicating monthly results to the management team in a timely and clear manner.
  • Conducting detailed customer profitability analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Ensuring optimal working capital while providing visibility on non-current debt to the business.
About You:Qualified as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA part accountant with a minimum of 2 years' experience, preferably in a commercial setting.Strong communication skills with the ability to convey messages clearly and engage effectively with stakeholders.Highly analytical, capable of extracting and interpreting data for driving change.Proactive in challenging conventional practices with a focus on continuous improvement.Self-motivated, eager for learning and development, and committed to getting things right on the first attempt.Proficient in IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications like Excel.Enthusiastic, resilient, and driven.Additional Benefits:
