Salary : Up to €35k basic. OTE circa €50k-€60k

Reports to : Senior Business Development Manager

This role offers HUGE potential to a driven and dynamic B2B sales enthusiast, account manager or an existing Business Development Executive looking for a fresh challenge. If you have a proven track record in sales, account management, customer service and/or business development within a B2B environment, this is the position for you.

A day in the life of a business development executive at CBTax:

  1. As a Business Development Executive at CBTax you will use your sales, relationship building and negotiation skills to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them alongside the Business Development Managers.
  2. Making outbound calls is a huge part of this job. Your phone becomes your best friend as you reach out to potential leads/clients, introducing them to the innovative tax solutions CBTax offers whilst working with the BDMs to book appointments.
  3. You'll handle inbound leads with the same enthusiasm, ensuring no opportunity slips through the net. Each call brings a new challenge and the potential to secure a valuable appointment.
  4. This job is all about strategically planning your approach to engage with potential clients effectively. Your efforts aim to generate 4+ appointments per week, contributing significantly to your annual fee targets of €550k-€800k+.
  5. When it comes to general admin, data enhancement becomes a part of your routine, as you continuously update and refine your database, making sure we have the best possible information to work with. You will also have the opportunity to identify and qualify new leads, always on the lookout for the next big opportunity.

  1. We are looking for a confident and professional individual with a positive attitude who is eager to learn and grow within our company. While we can teach the specifics, having a background in Sales, Telesales, Account Management, or Business Development is highly advantageous.
  2. You are professional, articulate, reliable, and highly motivated to hit targets. Your interpersonal skills are what sets you apart, allowing you to work comfortably with people at all levels up to C-suite level within a fast-paced environment.
  3. Your ability to work autonomously is key, as you will be managing your time and priorities independently. You are methodical, organised, and accurate in your approach, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  4. We take great pride in our vibrant office environment and are committed to a five-day in-office work week. As you seek career advancement and transition into a Business Development Manager role, a full driving license and a reliable car are essential.
  5. While sector-specific and relevant R&D experience are highly beneficial, they are not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided.
