Business Developer for Foodservice & Wholesale Accounts Territory is mainly Galway but also Mayo, Roscommon, and Westmeath - candidate would ideally be based in Galway.

My client supply (via wholesalers) a large portfolio of well-known food brands into Foodservice.

The candidate must have a background in selling into foodservice or wholesale Salary & Benefits:

Salary is €45k-€55k may be negotiable but must reflect experience, €4,500 Bonus, Pension Contribution, Discounted Health Insurance, Daily Lunch Allowance and Company Vehicle.

They are recruiting an experienced Foodservice Business Developer to manage and develop their Key Wholesale Accounts and Foodservice End-Users across the West of Ireland.

You will be extremely sales and KPI driven with excellent negotiation and influencing skills.

You will be strong at building and maintaining relationships with both wholesalers and end users - with the end users this is indirect sales where they order from their local wholesaler.

Responsibilities for the job of Food Service Key Account Manager To achieve volume, profit and share objectives for each designated wholesale and end user account in line with the commercial strategy The development of customer focused objectives/ account plans for the accounts and the successful implementation of all agreed SMART objectives To develop a support package and distribution programme in conjunction with the commercial team Achievement of distribution, display, pricing, brand growth and customer support package objectives To manage the designated account base using the principles of trade execution; sales execution and account development striving to achieve preferred supplier status for company owned and principal brands Achievement of display objectives through the effective management of primary and secondary displays and proper use of digital & physical point of sale material Formal business review with each of the accounts on a quarterly basis To effectively communicate all head office negotiations to the appropriate sales managers/end user team to ensure the total exploitation of opportunities provided through effective business development To clearly identify opportunities within the wholesale accounts customer base that can be realised through working closely with the end user customer The development of these end user opportunities through effective call planning and call execution Effective relationship generation and management with wholesale customer sales teams to identify and capitalise on end user opportunities Effectively measuring and reporting back on the tangible impact of converting these end user opportunities through the company CRM platform To call with the decision makers within the account base in a structured and timely fashion To show innovation in achieving solutions to problems and opportunities To successfully manage and record customer interactions using the company CRM platform Should you be interested in this job opportunity please apply or contact Ambyr .
