Assistant Director of Sales MHL Hotel Collection Cluster Sales Team We are looking for an inspiring, innovative, and passionate proactive senior hotel sales person to join our progressive hotel group. This individual will be career focused and want to learn and progress, in a structured and supported environment, to a Director of Sales and Marketing role in 2 years time. A full 2-year development plan will be put in place to support this progression and a copy of this programme is available for review. This development plan covers all the skills necessary to be a successful Director of Sales and Marketing including account management and segmentation (Corporate, MICE, retail leisure, business and leisure groups, airline, FIT, Luxury, OTAs), hotel website management and marketing, social media channels, PR, offline marketing, commercial strategy and execution, and team and people management. The individual will be committed to assisting the Group Director of Sales and Marketing and their key role will be contributing to the overall strategic sales growth and success of the hotels within the Collection. The ideal candidate will need to be able to work in a fast paced and customer focused environment. The MHL Hotel Collection is a collection of unique and individual hotels in key city and resort locations throughout Ireland. From the bustling city centres of Dublin, Belfast, Galway and Limerick to an historic estate close to Galway City and Powerscourt Resort in county Wicklow, each of our 14 hotels has its own distinct personality and charm. As unique as our collection is, all our hotels are united in their commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality to all our guests. This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative and progressive Irish hotel group and be part of the Cluster Sales team that is instrumental in growing the MHL Hotel Collection brand and its individual hotels. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years' proactive Hotel Sales experience (Corporate and / or MICE) in a target driven sales environment Sales focused, target and results driven. Must be a self-starter and strong closer, with multi-tasking ability. Excellent levels of personal motivation and organisation Experienced in sales at both operational and management levels. Effective communicator to clients and colleagues, individually and in groups; with the capacity to provide clear written reports. A commercial awareness and good understanding of yield management Confident, ambitious, and pro-active Seeks out challenges and is driven by success. Track record in sales target success and over-achievement essential Must have the capacity to respond to a fast-paced environment, with a multi-tasking ability in a changing environment. Experience in management of offline marketing Global hotel brand experience an advantage, but not essential Experience of effective people management in a team environment Skills: Salesforce Sales Support Sales Assistant
