Amazon is innovating in the Operations and Logistics space and looking for a driven, entrepreneurial, and analytical Manager for the Amazon Shipping Demand Generation and Sales team in Italy.
We are looking for a commercial manager who will be excited by working in a new start-up environment and will have familiarity with leading B2B sales generation and managing sales team.

The successful Manager will be comfortable navigating ambiguity and operating in a start-up environment.
You will have experience developing relationships across a diverse customer base, drive commercial growth for the business and work effectively with functional areas such as Business, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and IT.
Has a proven track record for developing people and leading teams to success, exceeding program goals and revenue targets.

Key job responsibilities
Own strategy and commercial growth for demand generation
Manage a team of sales demand representative and sales managers, growing people and leading them ton success
Drive revenue, adoption, and market segment share for our product with key prioritization and identified trade-offs
Earn trust of customers (shippers) and recommend product solutions that fit their business needs meeting exceeding targets for customer and/or feature spend adoption
Measure performance, articulate root-cause analysis, and link to specific improvement areas
Relay market needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams
Analise current purchasing processes and evaluate opportunities for solutions to improve end user experiences, reduce costs, and accelerate organization performance
Assess program risks, anticipate challenges, and provide escalation management when necessary

This role will be based in Milan with possible moderate travel (maximum 25%).
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS· Experience in people management, sales, management consulting, or roles with similarly broad scope
· Bachelor degree or equivalent, preferably in a business-related subject such as Business Administration, Business Engineering or Business Information
· Strong business acumen, as well as communication and negotiation skills
· Proven quantitative analytical capability and project management skills in addition to being customer focused, excellent attention to detail and able to effectively prioritize and multi-task
· Successful candidates will have proven experience in developing original ideas, approaches, and solutions to typical, unusual, or difficult situations in a competitive and ever changing business climate
· Familiarity with Excel and knowledge of databases or CRM tools (e.g.
Salesforce)

Native Italian language due to need of interacting with Italian speaking clients
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS· Demonstrated experience in helping to develop others on your team and scaling best practices
· Entrepreneurial background with proven ability to deal with ambiguity, pivot quickly, adapt to new processes and drive local initiatives
