Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is a rapidly growing, global operation unit that significantly impacts the customer experience.
Within ATS, Amazon Freight Partner is a new program enabling entrepreneurs to start and grow their trucking business alongside Amazon, with exclusive learning, local hiring, and long-term growth potential.
The Amazon Freight Partner team seeks candidates with an entrepreneurial spirit, quick learning ability, and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for a Product Manager to help improve and optimize our operational performance through metrics and technology.
You will work cross-functionally to understand current operations and identify improvements leveraging data and technology, innovating and detecting synergies within the organization and partners.
You will oversee existing metrics, establish governance, and analyze key factors influencing performance, making critical business decisions to transform transportation operations and influence senior leadership.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and monitor metrics to track operational progress and issues with proper governance mechanisms.Collaborate internally and across organizations to unify data sources and perform in-depth analysis of influencing factors.Develop understanding of tools, data, and products to solve complex problems involving tech and business performance, leveraging existing solutions to improve efficiency.Gain domain expertise, assess technology needs, and identify synergies across teams and partners.Analyze and improve the main efficiency metric, Loaded Drive Time (LDT).Use data to inform decisions, analyzing feedback and results to enhance transparency using Excel, SQL, and other data systems.A Day in the LifeYou will work with Operations, Program Development, Global Tech, and other teams to develop initiatives that transform our operations.

About the TeamThe ATS team is central to Amazon's success, managing air, sea, and road transport, along with technology-enabled sortation centers.
They use data to drive decisions, making Amazon more innovative and efficient, while prioritizing safety and sustainability.
Basic QualificationsA degreeAdvanced computer skills (Excel, Word); Tableau/Quicksight/SQL/Python preferredExperience in strategic and tactical projectsProduct, program, or technology management experienceExperience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholdersStrong analytical skills using qualitative and quantitative methodsPreferred QualificationsMaster's degreeExperience in roadmap strategy and executionStrategic thinking and methodical execution skillsAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesAmazon is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity.
