McCarren Meats Unlimited Company is one of Ireland's oldest traditional pig slaughtering, processing, and bacon curing companies.
This exciting role involves leading the People Agenda at our site and executing our organizational strategy to position Kepak as an exceptional workplace.
The HR Manager will report to the Site Manager and HR Director.
Role Location (Hybrid): Following an initial 6-month period, our Smart Working Policy permits 2 days of remote work and 3 days on-site, subject to business needs.
Role Responsibilities: Design and implement a site HR strategy supporting management in achieving business objectives. Deliver high-quality HR services ensuring a positive employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle. Implement Group policies and procedures based on best practices. Drive performance management initiatives, fostering a high-performance culture and talent development. Oversee training and development, ensuring needs are met with tailored plans to enhance workforce capabilities. Contribute to Group HR initiatives and develop people strategies. Support strategic workforce planning, risk assessment, and skills development. Coach and develop management to improve people management skills and drive engagement. Lead the site HR team, promoting professional growth and delivering excellent HR services. Provide relevant people metrics to inform decision-making and improve communication. Promote Kepak Values on-site to foster an outstanding workplace culture. Role Deliverables: A site People plan aligned with business and group strategies. A training plan reflecting business needs. An inclusive and respectful workplace culture. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: A third-level HR qualification or equivalent. 3-5 years of HR experience, with a broad background in HR generalist functions. Proven experience in food production, manufacturing, or a related industry.
