About Montane DevelopmentsMontane Developments head office based in Maynooth, is a fast-growing, forward-thinking property development company delivering high-quality residential and commercial schemes across Ireland.With a reputation for design-led, sustainable projects and an ambitious pipeline, we are expanding our commercial team with a talented Experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the next phase of growth.The OpportunityAs Senior QS, you'll take commercial responsibility across multiple projects from pre-construction through to final account.You'll be instrumental in ensuring financial efficiency, contract compliance, and value creation across the lifecycle of each scheme.Key ResponsibilitiesLead cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting for multiple developmentsPrepare and manage bills of quantities, tender documentation, and procurement strategiesEvaluate subcontractor tenders and negotiate contractsManage and report on project cash flow, cost variations, and risk assessmentsConduct valuations, agree interim and final accounts with clients and subcontractorsWork closely with project managers, site teams, and external consultants to ensure project objectives are metProvide mentorship to junior QS staff where applicableRequirementsMinimum 5+ years' experience in a QS role, ideally within a developer or main contractorProven track record managing budgets for residential and/or mixed-use developmentsExcellent knowledge of construction contracts (JCT, D&B etc.)Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skillsDegree in Quantity Surveying or a related fieldMRICS or working towards (preferred)Ability to work independently, while contributing to a close-knit teamWhat We OfferCompetitive salaryClear progression path within a growing businessPension schemeOpportunity to work on high-profile, design-led developmentsReady to Build the Future with Us?Send your CV and a short cover letter toBe part of delivering award-winning projects with Montane Developments.Job Type: Full-timePay: €50,******-€100,****** per yearBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany pensionOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
