As part of the expansion of our Cyber Security services, Trinity College Dublin is seeking a suitably qualified and highly experienced infrastructure security specialist to work within IT Services.
This new role supports proactive cyber security of the digital estate and contributes to a security posture that protects the academic mission of the university.
The successful candidate will be an expert contributor to the University's cyber security assurance programme and be part of the University's cyber incident response.
Responsibilities
Mitigate cyber risks in the large, complex, centralised IT infrastructure of the University.
Contribute to the cyber security assurance programme and incident response activities.
Protect core ICT services for over 26,000 staff and students, as well as guests and visitors, and support connectivity for upwards of 100,000 devices across wired and wireless networks.
Qualifications / Requirements
Suitable, qualified and highly experienced infrastructure security specialist.

Post status: Permanent Contract
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: Administrative 1 (Points 1-6), Salary Scale (€70,240 - €111,219 per annum) in line with current Government pay policy.
