We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team in Dublin.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of marine and port-related projects, ensuring successful delivery within time and budget constraints.
The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in coordinating with various stakeholders, managing resources, and overseeing the execution of projects from initiation to completion.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage marine and port-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.
Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure that project activities are executed in accordance with established requirements.
Identify and mitigate project risks, and proactively resolve any issues that may impact project delivery.
Provide regular project status updates to senior management and key stakeholders, and address any concerns or deviations from project plans.
Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize productivity and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless integration of project deliverables into existing marine and port infrastructure.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices to enhance project management processes and outcomes.
Candidate Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; PMP certification is a plus.
Proven experience in managing marine or port-related projects, with a strong understanding of industry-specific processes and requirements.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional project teams and drive successful project outcomes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and software, as well as MS Office suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
Sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to marine and port operations.
A proactive and results-oriented approach, with a focus on delivering high-quality projects within specified constraints.
