Date: 28 Aug 2025 Req ID: 3301 Company: Allied Bakeries Location: Belfast, GB, BT5 5 HW Full or Part Time: Full Time Contract Type: Permanent Job Category: Hygiene Overview of role Location: Belfast Annual Salary: £31,706 Closing Date: Friday 26th September 2025 As a skilled Hygiene Team Member you will be responsible for effective and efficient cleaning of areas across site in line with the Company's standards and procedures, whilst maintaining a safe, clean and pest- free environment.

You will be working shifts 2 weeks of days and 2 week of nights, 4 days week 1 and 3 days week 2, 7 to 7.

Conduct regular visual checks on your work area and equipment in line with procedures, promptly alerting any issues to the Engineering team.

Apply all necessary controls in accordance with site food safety, health & safety, and environmental management systems and procedures.

Support audits, review hygiene standard operating procedures (SOPs), and assess cleaning effectiveness in collaboration with Hygiene Technicians and the Site Services Manager.

Contribute to achieving departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by identifying and supporting improvements in hygiene, deep cleaning, pest control, efficiency, or cost reduction.

The Right Person Previous experience in a hygiene role.

Ability to obtain Basic Food Hygiene, Pest Awareness, and HACCP certifications.

A strong team player with good communication skills.

Flexible and cooperative, with a willingness to support business needs as required.

Experience in a Manufacturing or FMCG environment, along with up-to-date Basic Food Hygiene, Pest Awareness, and HACCP qualifications would be desirable.
