Service Desk Analyst

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Service Desk Analyst. Sysco Technology Ireland is a technology-focused team within Sysco International, dedicated to reimagining foodservice through innovation. By using customer and market intelligence, data-driven insights and agile technology development, we are able to rethink the entire foodservice ecosystem.

The Ireland Technology team is a group of 40+ specialists (engineers, architects, consultants, analysts, project managers and developers) and collaborates with the wider Global Sysco Technology team, which consists of over 1,600 technologists. Key Accountabilities:
  • Process and create purchase orders as needed
  • Contact users to pick up their devices and issue the devices to the users
  • Assist with phone calls and ticket queue volumes during low staffing periods
  • Taking inventory and managing BT stock levels including maintenance and warranty of assets
  • Generate ticket reports on our Service Desk
  • Share and contribute to creating and updating our support knowledge base
  • Ensure users sign accountability and terms of use documentation
  • Assist with departmental/desk moves as needed
  • Track repair situations through to resolution and redeployment
  • Prepare hardware for shipment to OpCos when required
  • Create, update, and track service requests/incidents within the ticketing system
  • Ensure the new user and leaver workflows are on schedule
  • Assist with the delivery of projects as required, including adhering to Change Control Process
  • General understanding of PCs, tablets, mobile phones, peripherals, and various operating systems including Windows, Apple iOS, and Android
  • Assist in setting up new computer hardware and software for users
  • Review all BT monthly billing charges
Requirements:
  • This position requires excellent verbal and written communication, professional customer relationship skills and the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels across the business
