Job Description

The Quantity Surveyor (QS) will manage cost control for projects, ensuring effective spend management, compliance with contractual reimbursement principles, and monitoring final project costs. Responsibilities include measurement of design and on-site works, developing schedules of rates or Bills of Quantities, assessing materials, preparing payment certificates, and final accounts, all to meet budgetary goals.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years' experience in quantity surveying within commercial/residential or upgrade environments.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, drawings, and specifications.
  • Experience with complex infrastructure projects and consultancy environments.
  • Knowledge of cost management principles and tools, including measurement methods.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project financial systems.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and multitasking skills.
  • Leadership experience, including mentoring junior staff.
