HR Generalist, Permanent position

Location: County Kerry

Salary: 35,000 - 45,000

A leading and well-established trade printing company is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic HR Generalist to join its people-focused team. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your HR career in a dynamic and collaborative manufacturing environment.

You'll play a key role in shaping a positive workplace culture, supporting both employees and management, and contributing to strategic HR initiatives.

What You'll Do

Recruitment & Talent Management

  • Drive the end-to-end recruitment process to attract top talent
  • Coordinate engaging onboarding programs to welcome new team members

Employee Relations

  • Be the go-to contact for day-to-day HR queries and support
  • Help foster a positive, respectful work environment through conflict resolution and employee engagement
  • Assist in disciplinary and grievance procedures with empathy and professionalism
  • Schedule and support employee training, including health & safety and professional development
  • Support performance reviews and employee development planning

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure HR policies align with the latest legislation and best practices
  • Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR systems
  • Monitor and manage employee leave, absences, and entitlements

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • CIPD qualification (or equivalent) is an advantage
  • At least 3 years' HR administration or generalist experience
  • Previous exposure to a manufacturing or production environment is desirable
  • Strong administrative, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • High level of discretion, confidentiality, and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
  • A proactive, collaborative team player with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
