State Street is seeking a DLP Platforms Technical Support Lead for our Security Platforms team, part of the State Street Cyber Fusion Centre. This team designs, manages, and supports the security tools which enable security operations across State Street. These tools are critical to State Street's cybersecurity, enabling threat detection, incident response, threat hunting, vulnerability management, and other key functions. Preferred location is United States – Boston/Quincy Massachusetts.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Leading and mentoring a team of technical support engineers specialising in DLP platforms
• Ensuring timely resolution of support tickets and adherence to SLAs
• Tuning and upgrading system components, following internal testing and change management processes
• Working with key stakeholders and vendors to implement new or additional DLP capabilities to enhance risk-driven data protection
• Contributing to projects that improve current DLP capabilities, drive adoption, and enable future growth
• Conducting root cause analysis for recurring issues and implementing preventive measures
• Acting as an escalation point for complex technical issues related to DLP platforms
• Partnering within the Cyber Fusion Centre teams to ensure our DLP platforms meet operational needs within DLP Program Operations, Insider Threat and Incident response

What We Value

• Experience operating and supporting DLP tools across multiple security domains such as Network, Email, Endpoint and Web
• Exposure to, and knowledge of enterprise DLP platforms (e.g., Symantec DLP, Digital Guardian Endpoint DLP, ProofPoint, Microsoft Purview)
• Strong skills managing application deployments, configurations and updates on Linux (RHEL) with knowledge of Linux commands, filesystems, permissions and process management
• Understanding and working knowledge of current data protection, information security and cyber security practices
• Direct experience managing, mentoring and leading teams
• Creating an environment that drives knowledge sharing and collaboration
• A collaborative approach to solving technical challenges and improving security
• A desire to learn, with a collaborative working style and strong work ethic
• Experience in a 24/7 security operations environment emphasizing reliability and system availability

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in IT support, cybersecurity, or a related field
• A degree is not required, but a qualification in information security or information systems may be beneficial
• Security certifications may be beneficial (e.g., CompTIA CASP+, GSEC or similar, relevant product certifications)
• Experience in financial services may be beneficial

• This team supports 24/7 operations which may require weekend work

Salary Range

$100,000 - $160,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
