Position Title: Cleaner

Location: Crosscare's Bentley House and Dun Laoghaire Services, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin
Work Schedule: Negotiable between 19.5 hrs to 27 hours a week, Monday – Friday (Days)
Contract: 1 year fixed term
Salary: €20,993-€27,058 Band A
Reporting to: Project Leader / Deputy Project Leader / Team Leader
The RoleGeneral Responsibilities: The main purpose of the role is to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Adhering to all Health & Safety guidelines set out in the service and removing any risks identified such as trip hazards.
- The vacuuming of rooms and corridors and emptying all waste bins
- Cleaning the glass and mirrors
- Cleaning Apartments
- Sweeping and mopping floor surfaces
- Cleaning the bathrooms and toilets
- Cleaning all common areas
- Ensure that rooms are odor free
- Report anything in need of repair or replacement to the appropriate person
- Keep your cleaning area and space clean and tidy at all times and your cleaning materials safely stored
- Maintain polite communication with residents and staff at all times
- Promote a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for residents and staff in the service
Job skills/Experience:
- Relevant experience in a similar role
