Overview

Position Title: Cleaner

Location: Crosscare's Bentley House and Dun-laoghaire Services, Dun-laoghaire, Co. Dublin

Work Schedule: Negotiable between 19.5 hrs to 27 hours a week, Monday – Friday (Days)

Contract: 1 year fixed term

Salary: €20,993-€27,058 Band A

Reporting to: Project Leader/ Deputy Project Leader/Team Leader

Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety guidelines and remove risks identified (e.g., trip hazards).
  • Vacuum rooms and corridors and empty all waste bins.
  • Clean glass and mirrors.
  • Clean apartments and common areas.
  • Sweep and mop floor surfaces.
  • Clean bathrooms and toilets.
  • Ensure rooms are odor-free.
  • Report maintenance or replacement needs to the appropriate person.
  • Keep cleaning area tidy and store cleaning materials safely.
  • Maintain polite communication with residents and staff; promote a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Essential Requirements
  • Relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.

  • Honest & Reliable.
  • Motivated, with attention to detail.
  • Understanding and commitment to working with people experiencing homelessness, addiction and mental health challenges.
