The Role.
The Project Administrator will provide essential administrative and project support to the project management team. This role involves managing project documentation, coordinating communications, and assisting with reporting and compliance requirements to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and in line with company and client standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and correspondence.
Prepare project reports and trackers, supporting the Project Manager with progress updates and KPIs.
Coordinate internal and external communications, including scheduling meetings and preparing meeting minutes.
Assist with procurement and purchase order processing, liaising with suppliers and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and health & safety documentation.
Support the site and project teams with administrative requirements to facilitate smooth project delivery.
Maintain and update databases, filing systems, and project management tools.
The Candidate: Required Experience and Competencies:
Previous experience in project administration, construction administration, or office coordination (utilities or construction preferred).
Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with project management software is an advantage.
