Team/Role Overview:
This role will focus on the strategic forward thinking, development and commercialisation of our solutions in UK and SEPA, bringing together the synergies of industry developments, regulations, infrastructure and client needs to build best in class payments solutions.
This is a new role that will be part of the UK and Europe Domestic Payments Cluster team, reporting to the UK and Europe Cluster Head.
What you'll do
- Develop a deep understanding of our client needs, industry developments, regulatory landscape and market capabilities for the UK and Europe to shape our product development roadmap and feed into the cluster and global domestic payments strategy.
- Own the commercial strategy for UK and SEPA. Work extensively with marketing and client facing colleagues to ensure commercial success.
- Continuously assess the existing SEPA and UK domestic product capabilities and delivery structure to ensure the optimal model for the franchise. Own the development of the business cases to ensure our domestic solutions continue to meet all requirements in terms of client needs, risk and controls, Operational Resilience, efficiency and the provision of a best in class client experience.
- Own the requirements, development, execution and commercialisation for critical initiatives cutting across our UK and SEPA domestic payments solutions.
- Own and drive PNL growth – proactively working with clients and with partners across the organization on pipeline origination and conversion.
- Develop commercial strategy for existing and new capabilities – including pricing strategy.
- Ensure best in class collateral and training for sales and clients.
What we'll need from you:
- Significant Product Management experience.
- Knowledge of the UK and Europe financial services industry.
- Strategic mindset that closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business.
- Experience in partnership management, business development, and strategic planning.
- Experience in commercialization – including leading client discussions and develop internal and external materials including presentations for senior leadership.
- Ability to apply sound judgement to complex decision making - based on sophisticated analytical thinking.
- Ability to work collaboratively and under pressure, prioritizing against tight timelines.
