Dublin, Dublin City, Ireland Nory Full time
Overview

We're looking for a Payroll Manager to take ownership of payroll operations for our clients, liaising directly with restaurant groups and external bureau partners to ensure payroll is accurate, compliant, and headache-free. This role is suitable for someone with a strong grounding in UK & Ireland payroll, experience in a bureau or client-facing environment, and the drive to thrive in a fast-moving startup. The role can be 100% remote within the UK/Ireland, or hybrid from our Holborn, London or IFSC, Dublin offices. You must have the right to work in the UK/Ireland to be considered.

We're on a mission to help the hospitality industry double their profitability, reduce their carbon footprint, and create better working environments for their teams.

What You'll Own
  • Client partnership: Act as the go-to payroll contact for clients, guiding them through onboarding, implementation, processing and ongoing support
  • Processing: Manage the full payroll pipeline (from pre-sale through live), partner with Sales and CS, and own client payroll calendars
  • Bureau management: Coordinate with our external payroll bureau to ensure accurate and timely processing for all client accounts
  • Compliance & regulation: Keep payroll processes compliant with HMRC, PAYE, NI, pensions, holiday pay, and other regulations. Stay on top of legislative changes and drive updates internally
  • Process improvement: Standardise workflows across clients, streamline for efficiency, and partner with Product/Engineering to help shape smarter payroll tools
  • Internal expertise: Be the in-house payroll expert, answering queries and ensuring teams have the right documentation and guidance
What You'll Bring
  • Excellent knowledge of UK & Ireland payroll legislation; US payroll knowledge is a plus
  • Experience in client-facing payroll roles, ideally within a bureau or agency setup
  • Confidence with payroll systems, HMRC submissions, BACS, Auto Enrolment, P11Ds, and payroll journals
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail - you thrive when juggling multiple client deadlines
  • Clear, confident communicator who can work across clients, third parties, and internal teams
  • A sense of ownership: when you spot a problem, you fix it
  • Startup mentality: proactive, resourceful, and comfortable wearing many hats
What You'll Get in Return
  • Competitive salary range depending on experience
  • Equity at our Series A valuation
  • 35 days of paid leave per year (including bank holidays)
  • Comprehensive private health insurance
  • Enhanced parental leave and baby loss support
  • Learning & development culture – €1000 personal annual budget + quarterly book budget
  • €250 home office workspace budget
  • Regular team offsites & socials
  • Co-working office space in London or Dublin
  • And much more
