The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our client acquisition strategy and build long-term relationships with enterprise customers both inside and outside of eir evo. You will play a crucial role in driving the growth of eir evo talent by identifying new opportunities, influencing key decision-makers, and aligning our recruitment solutions with customer needs.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in B2B sales or recruitment sales, who thrives on building meaningful partnerships, and who has a proven track record in winning and onboarding new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor and influencer, using your communication skills to generate interest and demand for eir evo talent's recruitment solutions.
- Use a combination of inbound leads and proactive outbound business development to source and engage potential clients.
- Build strong, consultative relationships with enterprise-level clients and understand their recruitment needs and pain points.
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, warm introductions, referrals, and events.
- Effectively manage internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with broader eir evo relationships and avoid duplication of effort.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in internal systems such as our ATS and CRM, including detailed notes from all client interactions.
- Take a strategic approach to market segmentation, identifying target industries and verticals that align with our service offerings.
- Conduct discovery meetings with prospects to assess talent requirements and position eir evo talent as the recruitment partner of choice.
- Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction post-sale.
- Represent eir evo talent at industry events, networking functions, and online forums to build brand awareness and pipeline.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and market activity.
Who You Are
- A natural relationship builder with a commercial mindset and passion for consultative selling.
- Confident and professional communicator, both written and verbal.
- Results-oriented with a consistent track record in exceeding business development or sales targets.
- Able to articulate complex ideas and come up with creative solutions to our customers' recruitment needs.
- Skilled in cold outreach and developing warm leads into lasting customer partnerships i.e. Apollo, Hubspot.
- Organised, detail-focused, and diligent in record-keeping and CRM/ATS updates.
- Strategic thinker with an understanding of market segmentation and customer profiling.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a high-performance team.
Requirements
- 5+ years in a business development, sales, or client-facing role – preferably within the tech, recruitment, or professional services sectors.
- Proven success in winning and onboarding new clients, particularly at the enterprise or mid-market level.
- Experience using CRM and ATS platforms for sales tracking and customer engagement i.e. Bullhorn, Salesforce, Gong, Dynamics.
- Strong understanding of the Irish recruitment landscape, particularly in technology or digital sectors (a strong advantage).
- Excellent presentation and influencing skills.
- Ability to travel for client meetings and events.
