Overview

Production Operator - Fixed Term Contract role at Tirlán, located in Lough Egish, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan.

Role Profile

Working in the UHT production facility in Lough Egish, Co. Monaghan, the production operator will be involved in every aspect of production, developing skills across specialised production processes, on a three shift cycle across 5 days with weekend work on occasion. The role reports to the Production Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor all process-related tasks and tests to meet product specifications in a timely, efficient, and effective manner.
  • Report any process deviation or non-conformance immediately to management.
  • Conduct CIP and sterilisation on main process equipment, lines and tanks, in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Maintain good housekeeping, hygiene, quality and safety standards.
Key Requirements
  • At least 2 years' experience in a food/dairy processing or pharmaceutical environment, including operating plant and machinery.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene quality standards.
  • Results-oriented with a positive outlook and a focus on high quality.
