Location: Dublin, Ireland (Global remit – supporting Ireland, UK, US, Chennai, Grenada, Australia, New Zealand, and additional markets)

Overview

FoodHub is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Global HR Manager to lead the development and execution of our international people strategy. Operating across multiple jurisdictions, this role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational oversight to ensure HR excellence at every level of the organisation.

The successful candidate will work with the CEO and senior leadership team to implement forward-thinking HR initiatives, drive organisational effectiveness, and provide expert guidance on people-related matters. This role requires a proactive leader who is equally comfortable shaping policy as they are engaging directly with operational tasks when needed.

Key Responsibilities

People & Business Partnership

  • Support the leadership team to provide guidance on people-related matters.
  • Help identify and address business and HR challenges, offering practical solutions to support FoodHub's goals.
  • Support the roll-out of HR and administrative initiatives across different regions.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Coordinate HR policies, procedures, and systems across multiple countries.
  • Support the smooth running of HR processes such as payroll, benefits, transfers, and exits.
  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws and company policies, escalating risks where needed.
  • Work closely with legal teams and external advisors on employment-related issues.

Employee Relations & Culture

  • Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns.
  • Support investigations and provide fair, consistent recommendations on employee relations matters.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture.

Talent Management & Development

  • Support succession planning and talent review discussions.
  • Contribute to retention strategies and initiatives to reduce turnover in key roles.
  • Help coordinate the performance management process.
  • Partner with managers to provide employees with growth and development opportunities.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Support the delivery of annual compensation and reward processes.
  • Contribute to market analysis and benchmarking to help ensure competitiveness.
  • Assist with aligning performance and contribution with reward outcomes.

Team Support & Collaboration

  • Provide guidance and day-to-day support to HR and admin colleagues in different locations.
  • Help build a consistent, compliant, and people-focused HR service.
  • Promote a culture of openness, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in a senior HR leadership role within a large-scale, global, multi-site organisation (1,000+ employees).
  • Proven success managing HR and administrative functions across multiple countries.
  • Deep knowledge of global employment legislation, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong expertise in data-driven HR management, reporting, and analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate at executive levels.
  • Track record of designing and executing global HR strategies that drive engagement, retention, and performance.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
  • High ethical standards, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Experience leading diverse HR and admin teams and developing HR talent.
