Creed McStay LLP are seeking a full time Receptionist/Legal Secretary. This role will suit an organised and adaptable person who wishes to establish themselves in the corporate/legal industry.
Qualifications- Have a professional, polite and welcoming manner.
- 1 year experience in an office environment/legal background proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experienced in the use of case management systems.
- Ability to work as part of a team, to think on their feet, assist colleagues and react quickly.
- Be self-motivated and flexible.
- While previous experience in the legal sector or an interest in entering the field would be a bonus, it is not a requirement.
- Perform key reception functions, such as answering phones, greeting visitors, screening calls, taking messages, and scheduling appointments.
- Assistance to other staff members, including typing emails, basic letters, and meeting notes.
- Maintain and organise files, ensuring correspondence is regularly allocated to the correct files. Scheduling of Title Documents.
- Collect, sort, and distribute incoming mail and DX; prepare outgoing mail.
- Maintain basic administrative records /spreadsheets.
- Assist other staff members with clerical and technical tasks, such as basic data entry.
The office is a busy environment with a small team, who work independently but are always ready to support each other, depending on the current priority. The individual we recruit will be adaptable, have excellent organisational skills and an ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. This is an onsite position.
