We've just launched TradeDesk – our newest underwriting innovation – set to transform how vehicles are appraised and traded nationwide. TradeDesk Negotiator Responsibilities- Enhance the accuracy of predicted vehicle trade price data in respect of vehicle condition, current market conditions and historical trade and retail trends.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis to support the development and enhancement of our proprietary pricing engine.
- Liaise with our seller & buyer base daily.
- Identify new potential buyers onto the TradeDesk platform
- Gather, analyse, and interpret data related to vehicle makes, models, and mechanical specifications.
- Monitor market trends and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve pricing accuracy and competitiveness.
- Prepare and present reports on pricing trends, market conditions, and competitive analysis.
- Interact with key stakeholders daily.
- Work closely with the TradeDesk team to identify opportunities.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the automotive industry in a Buying or Selling based role or a role that has exposure to vehicle valuations.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Profit and target driven.
- Have strong relationships with automotive sellers & buyers.
- Deep knowledge of the automotive industry, including makes, models, and mechanical aspects.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability and willingness to quickly adapt to change.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
- Proficient in Microsoft suite of products (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
