We're one of the UK and Ireland's largest food manufacturers, employing around 14,000 colleagues across 16 manufacturing units and 17 distribution depots. We supply all the UK's major food retailers with everything from sandwiches, soups and sushi to cooking sauces, pickles and ready meals. In 2024, we generated revenues of £1.8bn.
Our mission is simple — to make every day taste better.
At Greencore, Executive Assistants are a critical part of how our leadership team operate. In this role, you'll provide high-quality support to two senior leaders based in our Dublin office—enabling effective leadership, forward planning, and better business decisions. This is a fast-paced, high-profile position where your ability to handle information with discretion, manage competing priorities and operate with commercial acumen will be key to your success.
You'll be working with colleagues across multiple sites and departments, supporting not just day-to-day logistics but also strategic project oversight, stakeholder engagement, and governance.
What you'll be doingThis role is broad, varied, and strategically important. You'll:
- Manage complex executive diaries, meetings and priorities, ensuring alignment with business needs and leadership objectives.
- Own travel and logistics across the UK, Ireland and beyond. Anticipate needs, navigate time zones and resolve issues with minimal input.
- Act as the first point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, managing relationships and handling queries with professionalism and tact.
- Draft, review and prepare key documents including board materials, reports, decks and correspondence, ensuring quality, accuracy and alignment with business tone.
- Provide hands-on support for critical projects. Track progress, chase actions and proactively resolve blockers.
- Handle sensitive data and information with complete discretion, acting as a trusted extension of your leaders.
- Support strategic planning, business meetings and functional communications while working closely with leaders in finance, commercial and operations.
- Collaborate with other Executive Assistants across the group—sharing best practice and covering where needed.
- Coordinate on-site logistics for visits, audits or events to ensure a seamless experience for both internal teams and external guests.
We're looking for a commercially astute EA who can operate with pace, presence and professionalism. You'll need:
- Extensive prior experience as an Executive Assistant supporting Director or C-suite level leaders
- Strong exposure to finance, strategy, or regulated corporate environments
- A calm, confident communication style—able to influence, challenge and represent leaders effectively
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and move SEAMlessly between detail and big-picture thinking
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (especially PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
- Strong writing, editing and formatting skills for reports, board packs, presentations and minutes
- Experience working across functions, time zones and geographies
- Sound judgement, high discretion, and a proactive mindset
- Possibly a recognised PA or Business Support qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 2)
- Competitive salary and job-related benefits
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Pension scheme with up to 8% matched contributions
- Life insurance up to 4x salary
- Share save scheme
- Access to Greencore Qualifications
- Greencore employee discount platform
- Access to our full Wellbeing Centre platform
Throughout your time at Greencore, you'll be supported with on-the-job training and long-term development opportunities.
If you're ready to take on a high-impact role at the heart of a complex, fast-moving business — apply now and grow with Greencore.
