Quality & Safety Administrator

Our client, a leading provider of specialist mental health care, is seeking a Quality & Safety Administrator to support compliance, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives. This role is vital in ensuring the hospital meets regulatory standards, maintains high-quality care, and fosters a culture of patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mental Health Act Compliance – Coordinate Mental Health Tribunals, liaise with the Mental Health Commission, and ensure all statutory requirements are met.
  • Regulatory & Quality Assurance – Support audit schedules, document control, policy compliance, and quality improvement plans.
  • Incident & Risk Management – Monitor incident reports, support risk assessments, and ensure a culture of learning and safety.
  • Complaints & Feedback – Assist in tracking, analysing, and responding to patient and family feedback.
  • Administrative Support – Maintain electronic patient records, assist with regulatory inspections, and provide support to the Quality & Compliance team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years' experience in a healthcare setting, ideally in mental health or compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of mental health services, the Mental Health Act 2001, and regulatory frameworks.
  • High proficiency in IT systems, incident reporting, quality management tools, and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
