We are seeking a dynamic, driven and results-oriented Pursuits professional with a winning track record, to support our largest and most strategic pursuits. Working closely with Partners and engagement teams, you will bring a client lens to each pursuit, constructively challenging and advising teams to differentiate KPMG and develop winning strategies. Delivering best practise throughout the pursuit process, from opportunity identification through to close, you will get teams win-ready, and support in the delivery of high impact client interactions such as workshops, client meetings, tender docs and presentations.

A Snapshot Of Your Peer Group

  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent
  • 5+ years' experience working in Pursuits/Bids
  • Ability to influence at senior level
  • Track record of a winning mind-set and being personally critical to the winning of business
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with challenging deadlines and multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex content into clear and compelling messages
  • Emotional intelligence and an ability to flex style to the situation
  • Commercially astute and risk aware

Your responsibilities and achievements will evolve as you enhance your career with us. Here is what you can initially expect:
  • Applying your experience and KPMG pursuits methodology, you will lead Pursuit support that increases win probability and focuses the pursuit team on what's important
  • Facilitate qualification, kick off and win theme sessions, that differentiate KPMG from our competitors
  • Provide independent review and challenge of win themes, proposals and other bid materials
  • Deliver Pursuit best practice in everything you do, bringing energy, impact and strategic advice to Partners and client teams
  • Devise clients contact plans pursuit plans and liaise with the creative team to ensure impactful design of deliverables that echo our win themes
  • Apply your creative writing and editing to key elements of our communications (e.g. draft compelling executive summaries)
  • Provide Partner and team coaching for early client conversations, oral presentations and negotiations
  • Train, inspire and upskill others in the business so that they are better equipped to win work
  • Drive progress across pursuit work streams, ensuring the pursuit plan is executed effectively and on time
  • Ensure online pursuit self-help and supporting materials are relevant and effective
  • Build relationships with Senior Stakeholders across the business and understand what's in the pipeline so you can plan and prioritise pursuit support

Your Team

You will be supported by a Pursuits Assistant Manager in the project management of Pursuits, and you will be reporting to the Head of Business Development, joining a team of 8 Sales Enablement and BD professionals, who sit within a large Marketing team.
