Overview

Onsite AV Technician — Dublin, Ireland. Yorktel is seeking an Onsite AV Technician to join the team. The position is based at a customer site in Dublin, Ireland. This is a client-facing role requiring a professional demeanor and strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients.
  • Assist and support collaboration technology and processes for end users.
  • Provide support for a range of collaboration technologies, including, but not limited to:
    • Video conferencing platforms (Poly)
    • Microsoft Teams
    • Meetup devices
    • Owl video devices
    • Webex
    • Zoom
    • Audio conferencing
  • Provide end-user support on process, including:
    • Scheduling meetings with technology
    • Requesting support
    • Basic use of technology
  • Provide end-user training as requested.
  • Troubleshoot issues to level 2, aiming for capability and resolution, including:
    • Replacement of equipment
    • Termination of cabling
    • Complex troubleshooting
  • Escalate issues to the appropriate parties following process.
  • Perform weekly room checks and quarterly room preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain and report on all technology requests within the Client's Incident Management System, ensuring tickets are updated and closed once resolved.
Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • 1-3 years' experience with audio/visual equipment.
  • 1-3 years' experience troubleshooting technical issues.
  • 1-3 years' experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Basic understanding of IP networking.
  • Basic understanding of A/V signal flows.
  • Ability to troubleshoot a broad range of AV equipment issues.
  • Ability to work well in a team and also independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
