Senior Purchasing Administrator

JJ Rhatigan & Company is one of Ireland's leading Building Contractors, with operations throughout Ireland and the UK. We are currently recruiting for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Purchasing Administrator based in our Galway Head Office.This role involves close coordination with suppliers, site teams, and internal departments to ensure the smooth management of purchasing processes and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate and follow up with suppliers and site staff regarding delivery dockets and invoice queries.
- Monitor and manage supplier credit requests.
- Work closely with the Accounts Department to resolve any purchasing-related issues.
- Prepare and analyse cost reports to support procurement decisions.
- Track material budgets.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Strong prioritisation skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective time management and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); SAP experience is an advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with construction materials is an asset, but not required.
- Immediate start available
