Role Summary:

As a Mid Weight Designer at Life Style Sports you are responsible for the implementation of a great standard in design work across all touchpoints including stores, window display, lifestylesports.com, advertising, internal communications and social media.

You will deliver excellent design solutions and concepts that are consistent with our brand's creative strategy. You will work effectively with our Head of Creative, our Go to Market and Concept teams and our internal team, agencies and freelancers to produce campaigns we can be proud of. You will help drive the creative development of the brand ensuring that our style is consistent, current and relevant to our customers in all channels. You will be required to work across multiple design projects, ensuring they are delivered on time.

You will also prepare concepts for photo-shoots, work with our production team advising on the best photographers/locations/propping. You will work collaboratively with our production team and photographers and stylists to deliver impactful imagery for campaigns and ecomm team.

You will work alongside our social team to help deliver static and video assets that are engaging across our social channels with videographers.

You will bring to life graphic animation for social and store screens and edit content for our channels.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver excellent creative strategy/thinking and creative solutions for the Head of Creative, Senior designer and Marketing Team across omni-channels.
• Set a consistent high standard of design work.
• Responsible for the delivery of excellent creative work, to specific deadlines and project timings.
• Create work across Concept, Media & CRM, and eCommerce teams to deliver strategic, customer and commercial priorities in a way that sets our Brand apart.
• Responsible for using our traffic system (training provided) and updating the system on the status of your projects.
• Responsible for clear communication to the Head of Creative, Senior Designer and Brand Team on the status of your projects.
• Responsible for a daily check-in on our traffic system to spot upcoming projects that you may or may not be assigned.
• Deliver presentation and storytelling across all physical and digital touchpoints; stores, lifestylesports.com, internal communications, all advertising and social media channels is in accordance with brand guidelines.
• Responsible for excellent creative solutions for photography and video shoots.
• Responsible for sharing scamps, sketches, art direction and ideas for your shoots to the wider internal team, photographers, videographers, production team, in advance of all shoots.
• Collaborate and work alongside our production team with pre-production on photography and video shoots.
• Provide excellent art direction on photography and video shoots creating impact.
• Responsible for graphic animation and content editing for social and store screens.
• Provide clear feedback to any of our 3rd party partners, that will lead to an excellent creative product.
• Show respect and collaboration to our 3rd party partners.
• Oversee for creative solutions that will work to the approved budget.
• Responsible for providing print-ready artwork to the relevant specs and liaising with printers to deliver an excellent standard of print work.
• Responsible for providing video content for our social channels and store screens to the correct specs and ensuring each channel has the best creative solution.
• Strong design skills with the ability to deliver excellent creative solutions.
• Customer obsessed with a relentless focus on delivering both customer acquisition and retention.
• Highly collaborative approach, working with our wider design studio, brand teams, agencies and technology partners.
• Helpful, supportive and fun to work with.
• Driven to continually update design skills.

Technical Skills and Experience:

• Experience working across multiple brands, delivering an excellent standard of design work.
• Proficient across the Adobe Suite, After Effects/Premiere Pro, project management software.
• Experience providing art direction and working with photographers, videographers and being involved with the production of photoshoots and content shoots.
• Experience with motion graphics/3d would be a bonus.
• Previous experience working in ecomm or retail would be ideal, but not a deal breaker.
• Experience managing projects and being able to advise on timings, schedules.
• Experience in the digital space, including CX and UX.

Brand & Creative Strategy

Work in collaboration with the Head of Creative and Senior Designer, other stakeholders and external agencies to deliver and evolve a consistent strong Brand personality and tone of voice focusing on key objectives of building emotional connection through brand values, a premium customer experience and the visual representation of our customer muse.

About you:

• 4+ years' experience in a graphic design role
• Excellent experience with Adobe Creative Cloud i.e., Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator (Premiere Pro & After Effects is a plus)
• A creative and commercial portfolio
• Knowledge of creating HTML5/ display ads and using programs such as Google Web Designer (or equivalent)
• Work as part of a great team and establish strong relationships at all levels
• Motion Graphic experience a bonus
• Someone who thrives in a fast-paced role, keeping quality high whilst consistently meeting deadlines
• Excellent and confident communicator
