Vision Contracting Ltd. are expanding our team and are currently looking to recruit permanent full-time Senior Site Engineer to join one of our current projects based in Naas, Kildare and various sites as required within the Leinster region.

The key activities

  • Ensure compliance and promote good work practices in relation to Health, Safety and Welfare Management systems.
  • Ensure the project programme in adhered to and coordinate activities in accordance with the schedule.
  • Assist in all phases throughout the project from pre-tender stage to project completion.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings for all aspects of the project.
  • Maintaining and ensuring all site documents and meetings are recorded and are up-to-date on a daily basis.
  • Report directly to the Project/ Contracts Manager and Construction Director.
  • Participate and engage in site meetings with clients, architects, subcontractors, site members and all other project personnel.
  • Prepare method statements and risk assessments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the capability of communicating the project requirements and tasks to the Site Forman and site members.
  • ·Exceptional organisational skills – coordinating the overall project scheduling and day-to-day tasks while maintaining site records.
  • Responsible for the delivery of high-quality projects in accordance with our quality management system and building regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships

Requirements

  • Relevant third level qualification in Engineering.
  • 7+ years' construction experience.
  • Experience with residential, commercial and retail projects.
  • Full Irish drivers license
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field
  • Full EU Driving License
