Payroll Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Payroll team in the Cherrywood office for a12 month fixed term contract. If you have experience in working in Payroll, have strong organisational and interpersonal skills and are a team player then this could be the role for you. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced payroll team. The successful candidate will be running our weekly and monthly payrolls, liaising with our customers and brokers on payroll related queries and working closely with our ARFs and Annuities team ensuring our customer are paid on time. This role is be based in our Dublin office and adheres to Aviva's hybrid working policy. Duties & Responsibilities: Processing payments through our Megapay payroll system. Reviewing and checking payments ready for import to ensure they are correct. Ensuring tax details are correct and in line with PAYE Modernisation. Conducting thorough quality checks to ensure payments are being made to correct payees and correct bank accounts. Updating customer details as and when necessary to ensure payroll matches back systems. Imputed Distribution payroll is processed correctly and on time. Skills & Experiences: Previous Payroll experience essential. Knowledge of ARF and Annuities beneficial. Good working knowledge of Excel is advantageous. Strong understanding of tax implications. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Understanding of Imputed Distribution. What will you get for this role?
