Technical Proposal Specialist – Small Molecule
Purpose of the Role
Develop and deliver high-quality proposals for small-molecule CMC projects, translating technical challenges into clear, actionable solutions that align with project goals and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Gather and assess technical requirements in synthetic chemistry, process development, and CMC.
Facilitate workshops with internal teams to define solutions and scope.
Create compelling, technically accurate proposals with timelines, resources, and deliverables.
Present proposals to stakeholders, articulating solutions and value.
Maintain templates, reusable content, and case studies for small-molecule projects.
Support project handovers to ensure smooth initiation.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
3–5 years in bid writing, proposal management, or technical sales in small-molecule development or CDMO/CRO environment.
Strong understanding of synthetic chemistry and CMC processes.
Skills & Attributes
Quick to grasp complex technical problems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Commercial awareness and client-focused mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/proposal tools.
