Claims Operations Manager

We are looking for a Claims Operations Manager to support the Head of Claims Operational Excellence APAC & Europe in leading the regional claims operations function. In this role, you will implement best practices and operational policies to improve efficiency and governance.

You will collaborate with stakeholders within and outside of claims, develop and monitor KPIs, and drive a culture of continuous improvement with country operations representatives.

You will lead regional engagement with functions such as IT, Risk, and IMT, oversee transitions to ESS, and coordinate key elements of XLICSE governance bodies and CBI requirements.

You will report to the Head of Claims Operational Excellence APAC and Europe.

What you'll be doing

What will your essential responsibilities include?

- Support the Head of Claims Operations APAC & Europe in implementing initiatives, systems, and processes to achieve XLICSE and BU strategy and goals.
- Partner with regional and global claims stakeholders to develop operational solutions for claims handling, ensuring compliance with AXA XL and AXA Group standards.
- Improve processes and systems for efficiency, cost reduction, and innovation; enhance reporting and analysis; address operational issues in the region and XLICSE.
- Lead and implement projects as required.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement process metrics and benefits measures to increase productivity, cost-effectiveness, and service outcomes.
- Ensure Quality Assurance oversight of XLICSE and the region, resolving CBI and audit recommendations or Risk Mitigation Programmes proactively.
- Work with the Regional Head of Claims Ops to monitor progress, business activities, and operational risks related to claims outsourcing, vendor management, and shared services.

- Excellent project management skills with experience managing projects from planning to execution in a multicultural, international environment.
- Proven ability to build and execute project plans effectively.
- Results-oriented with proactive approach, ability to prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Focus on continuous improvement, eager to learn, and explore new ideas.
- Excellent English skills (written and oral); additional languages are a plus.
