Our Cork office is seeking an experienced and dynamic Site-Based Architect to lead architectural design and delivery for a major large-scale development project in Limerick. As a practice of over 250 people working across a range of scales and typologies, we're defined by the quality of the work we do.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate with design team members and external consultants

- Maintain permanent on-site presence to oversee construction progress

- Conduct regular site inspections and quality assessments

- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site management team

- Ensure design integrity and quality throughout all project phases

- Resolve design-related issues and technical queries

- Coordinate with other disciplines including structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers

- Attend progress meetings and site meetings

Qualifications

- Min 10 years' experience with an emphasis on strong technical and building experience in a range of sectors

- Must be proficient in Revit and BIM

- Track record in delivering projects of scale

- Strong experience on site essential

- Strong understanding of Irish building regulations and planning systems

- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment

- Excellent organisational skills, the ability to plan and work to agreed timelines, a thorough, diligent approach to work and driven to see things through to completion

- Ability to adapt to changing requirements, and work within a fast-paced environment

- Conscientious and respectful in communications, with excellent collaborative skills

- Motivated to achieve best in class design, construction, and project execution

- Willingness to take advantage of development opportunities

- The ability to think systematically and to interpret complex information is essential
