This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join a dynamic finance team in a fast-growing technology company. The successful candidate will work with different departments to help drive the company to an efficient payroll process as we continue to grow and expand.
This is a part-time position requiring a minimum of 20 hours per week, with flexibility to be structured over 3 or 5 days.
Responsibilities
- Manage accurate and timely processing of the end-to-end payroll cycle across multiple countries in the EMEA region, including Ireland and the UK, both in-house and utilizing In-Country Payroll Partners.
- Address and resolve any payroll-related issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Act as the first point of contact for regional queries.
- Partner with key internal stakeholders including Finance, Tax, & Treasury.
- Perform month-end journals and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and local regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist with the implementation of new processes and systems.
- Serve as additional support for US Payroll.
- Complete ad-hoc tasks and other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for….
- A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in managing and processing multiple EMEA payrolls, with primary responsibility for Irish payroll (multi-country experience is key).
- Required experience with Workday or a similarly complex, enterprise-level HRIS/Payroll system.
- Experience with Sage/Brightpay or similar local payroll systems is highly advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex payrolls and rigorous deadlines while maintaining consistently high accuracy.
- A recognized payroll qualification (IPASS, CIPP, or equivalent) is a significant advantage.
- Experience in fast-paced, growth-stage technology companies is essential.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, manipulation, and reporting.
- Strong technical comprehension and analytical skills for identifying and solving payroll discrepancies.
