Your Responsibilities:

Develop towards an SME for an Engineering system.

Drive the consistent application of maintenance systems, procedures, standards and best practice across the production and support areas to ensure continuous and reliable supply of Engineering systems.

Develop and champion continuous improvement programs that increase the performance and reliability of Engineering equipment and systems.

Develop mechanisms for monitoring, trending and reporting all Engineering equipment and system performance; conduct analysis of Bad Actors and drive a programme to improve reliability.

Support Engineering AIS, Facilities, PEV, Plant, Projects and Utility departments as required.

Project work on specification, scope definition, budget preparation, detailed engineering design, purchasing, inspection, validation, installation and commissioning of all new machinery and buildings.

Participate in risk assessments, inspections, audits, incident investigations and implement related CAPA’s.

Lead Deviation investigations within the Engineering department using lean six sigma tools to drive root cause analysis and CAPA completion.

Support audits on Engineering systems and associate Compliance/Safety programs, ensuring compliance with Safety, Quality, Environmental Regulatory and Corporate requirements.

Perform all duties in accordance with GMP requirements, SOPs and controlled documents.

Be flexible to take on additional tasks and responsibilities at the discretion of the Engineering Associate Director.

Act as a role model for the Engineering function and the wider organisation, adhering to the WuXi corporate core values and PROUD culture.

Support safety, environmental and ESG programmes; adhere to safe working practices as set out in the Safety Statement and other company safety rules.

Your Profile:
Qualifications

Third‑level qualification desirable or equivalent in Engineering or Science (PEV) based discipline.

Knowledge / Experience

Completion of an internship in a related industry is preferred.

Good problem‑solving skills and self‑directed.

Ability to deal with change and implement effective work processes.

Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.

Good priority setting skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
