We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Site Manager to oversee the delivery of significant construction projects from start to finish. This role offers the chance to take full responsibility for managing site teams, subcontractors, and resources, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and direct the progress of projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications and programme deadlines. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, design teams, and stakeholders, ensuring clear and professional communication. Coordinate all site activities, including subcontractors, direct labour, engineers, and suppliers. Monitor and manage site resources, including plant, materials, and equipment. Oversee site preparation, logistics, and day-to-day operations. Implement and enforce health & safety standards, carrying out regular inspections and ensuring compliance. Maintain accurate documentation, drawings, and progress reports. Drive quality control measures across all aspects of the build. Identify and resolve potential issues, proactively managing risks on-site. Contribute to contract discussions and support commercial teams with cost and programme management. Key Skills & Attributes: Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure. Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate. Commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets and programmes. Excellent communication skills with clients, consultants, and site teams. Deep technical knowledge of construction methods, regulations, and industry standards. Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex projects to successful completion. Requirements: 5+ years experience in a Site Management role, ideally at Senior Site Manager level. Experience with a main contractor on large-scale logistics, commercial, or residential/apartment developments. Relevant third-level qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline. IT literacy including Microsoft Office and project document management systems.
