What we’re looking for

We are looking for a diligent, self-motivated, technically-savvy individual, with excellent business and organizational skills to play a key role in our finance department in Dublin. The position will report directly to the International Accounting Manager in Dublin, as well as work closely with other members of our global offices.

The International Accountant will be a key member of the accounting team and support the company's month-end close and day-to-day international accounting operations.

They will assist in the management of the general ledger for all international entities in accordance with company policies.

What you’ll be working on

1. Ownership of month-end accounting close activities for our international entities.
2. Preparation of monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysis for our international entities.
3. Liaise with other internal departments (e.g. FP&A, Tax, Legal) to ensure the accuracy of the accounts.
4. Liaise with outsourced service providers for international entities.
5. Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures and update documentation as necessary.
6. Assist with the coordination of statutory audits and local compliance filing requirements.
7. Assist in year-end financial statement preparation.
8. Assist with ongoing finance and operational projects.

We’d love to hear from people with

1. Newly qualified accountant or at final stages of qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA).
2. Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
3. Strong attention to detail with an ability to work efficiently and accurately.
4. High energy level, with a demonstrable hands-on approach.
5. Fluent in English with an ability to communicate verbally and through written mediums in a clear and concise manner.
6. Exposure to NetSuite ERP system a plus.
7. Experience with indirect tax filings (VAT, GST, etc) a plus.
