What you’re going to do It’s an exciting time to join us as we build a new Trust & Safety platform. As a Software Engineer for the Trust & Safety Platforms team, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining our anti‑fraud intelligence platform, the "central nervous system" that empowers our operations analysts. This platform is key to our shift from a reactive to a proactive security posture, enabling our team to quickly monitor external threats, disrupt bad actor operations, and empower users with self‑service tools. You will be instrumental in integrating diverse data sources and developing unique automation and integrations that accelerate the work of our Trust & Safety Operations Team. Your contributions will directly enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our efforts to protect our users, brand, and platform. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Trust & Safety. Responsibility - Architect, design, and develop a robust Anti‑Fraud Intelligence, action, and case management platform - Implement integrations with diverse external data sources and threat intelligence feeds - Develop robust data pipelines for ingesting and processing internal data into the platform - Ensure data integrity, system reliability, and high availability of the platform - Design and build scalable, secure, and performant APIs - Develop and implement automated takedown processes for malicious domains and accounts - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior software engineers through code reviews and collaborative problem‑solving - Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management teams to identify and implement opportunities for automation and integration with internal platforms and systems - Develop and integrate APIs with various internal and external platforms Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in‑office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in‑office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic - BS/BA degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience - 5+ years of experience in software development - Experience with a modern programming language like Java, Python, or C# - Experience with the full software development lifecycle and agile methodologies - Experience building and maintaining APIs and data ingestion pipelines - Experience with version control systems, such as Git Preferred - Experience with large‑scale distributed systems and complex system design - Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) - Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration - platforms like Kubernetes - Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines - Experience developing security or fraud detection platforms - Knowledge of threat intelligence feeds and data correlation techniques - Familiarity with security concepts like phishing, account compromise, and domain abuse - Experience with both relational and NoSQL database systems - Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and technical leadership skills Life at Docusign Working here Docusign is committed to building trust and making the world more agreeable for our employees, customers and the communities in which we live and work.
