Exciting Opportunity at WTW Dublin Join Us as Communication & Engagement Specialist for Employee Experience (EX).
Are you passionate about creating a positive workplace culture? Do you excel in strategic communication and employee engagement? WTW Dublin is looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Communication & Engagement Specialist to elevate our client organisation’s Employee Experience strategies
About WTW Employee Experience
In EX, we help organizations understand the needs of their workforce and use those insights to improve their EX.
EX is the sum of all the touchpoints and moments that matter between employees and their employers. It sits at the heart of delivering superior customer experience and is key to our clients’ success. WTW is the leader in Employee Experience.
We have the unique ability to use insights to drive impact. That means we ground everything we do in a deep understanding of what people care about – what makes them tick, what’s inhibiting change, what really matters. And we use that to fuel their Employee Experience, shaping high-value, high-impact people solutions – and delivering them in a way that sparks behaviour change and drives business results.
Our people come from diverse backgrounds and bring a range of skills and capabilities – we’re insights masters, change catalysts, storytellers, culture shapers, organization strategists, digital champions and more. Our colleagues know the power of bringing these capabilities and our offerings together to develop and execute high-impact solutions for our clients’ most complex challenges.
Together, we’re all about powering ambitions - of our colleagues, our clients, and their people.
The Role
As a Communication & Engagement Specialist within Communications and Engagement Solutions, you will be responsible for the development and execution of strategies and related deliverables that support large-scale Employee Experience changes and HR programs (spanning Total Reward, pension and benefits, organization transformation, the future of work, wellbeing and culture) for our client organisations.
You will draw on your imagination, creativity and exceptional writing skills, as well as your ability to analyse information, develop conclusions and present content, to help clients communicate effectively with their employees about a range of subjects and across a range of media.
You will lead project teams to deliver high-quality and innovative work and support our Directors in developing new business and providing strategic guidance to client organizations and leadership.
To be effective in this role, you will need strong business acumen, together with the confidence to interact with key client contacts, manage teams and build a trusted advisor status. Comfort navigating ambiguity and uncertainty, organized thinking, strong communication skills, plus a willingness to participate in strategic design and tactical implementation are also critical to success in this position.
Specifically, you will need to:
• Manage the design, development and delivery of Employee Experience (EX) strategies for a broad range of HR programs, which drive desired changes in employee behaviour.
• Translate complex concepts into compelling and engaging communications across various media, including print and digital, with an eye towards cutting-edge solutions and data integration.
• Demonstrate effective relationship management skills to build ongoing relationships with key clients to become a trusted advisor and deliver Communication & Engagement solutions.
• Lead internal project teams, managing projects and client expectations, and raising appropriate issues to Directors
• Partner with analyst and associate-level team members to review work, provide guidance and insight.
• Contribute to the learning and development of team members through “on the job” feedback.
• Contribute to new business development by drafting statements of work, project plans and budgets involving multiple workflow streams and client teams
• Develop insights and strategies related to Employee Experience (EX) and/or managing a change in an organisation (including assessment of risks and impacts) and communicate these clearly and succinctly to identified stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of intellectual capital, including new tools, solutions and approaches around Employee Experience (EX).
• Deliver profitable revenue to the business through individual sales and billable hours goals.
Qualifications
The Requirements
• Significant internal communication experience within an in-house or agency environment with a focus on employee engagement.
• Knowledge of current communication and change management trends, marketing and technology (digital and social media), and proven ability to apply that knowledge to client-focused solutions
• Strong client relationship management skills
• Experience managing concurrent, multi-dimensional projects and people on time and within budget
• A professional presence with polished and well-developed facilitation, written, web and oral communication skills, demonstrating creativity and technical expertise
• Experience working with graphic designers to craft the “look and feel” of a communication
• Experience facilitating, coaching and mentoring teams specifically to drive consensus, brainstorm and/or to gather data for a project(s)
• Proven ability to recognize and diagnose issues, work in teams, and leverage the resources of other related practices to address client challenges
• Ability to draw conclusions from data in a logical, systematic way
• Understanding of agile principles, user experience and design thinking
• Availability to travel on an as-needed basis
• Bachelor’s degree (advanced degrees preferable)
