Job Type Permanent Full-Time Remote Work Option Hybrid Category Group Technology Location Dublin City, County Dublin, Ireland Job Details Role Title: Technical system administrator Endpoint/Desktop Role Location: Dublin, Hybrid Company: Vhi Group Services Dac A full-time and permanent position has arisen within Vhi for a Technical system administrator Endpoint/Desktop role, this role Support Vhi's Group Technology Endpoint team in delivering business critical IT services, such as desktop and laptop troubleshooting, application support, colleague technology guidance, connectivity troubleshooting , and IT Infrastructure management. This role is essential to the delivery of our Vhi strategy, technology enablement and implementation of continuous technology improvements and supports . Tracks their progress against schedule Ensures that service delivery meets agreed service levels. Diagnoses service delivery problems and initiates actions to maintain or improve levels of service. Monitors service component capacity and initiates actions to resolve any shortfalls according to agreed procedures. Applies techniques to control the demand upon a particular resource or service. Contributes to capacity modelling and planning. Supports the design of service component capacity. Contributes to the implementation of new installations and scheduled maintenance or changes to existing systems. Contributes to the availability management process and performs defined availability management tasks. Ensures that services and components meet and continue to meet all of their agreed performance targets and service levels. Identifies problems and issues and recommend corrective actions and reports on status accordingly Provides advice and guidance to support the adoption of methods and tools and adherence to policies and standards. Follows agreed procedures to identify and resolve issues with applications. Assist in the testing of contingency plans Ensures that operational processes are adhered to for effective change control. Controls assets in one or more significant areas ensuring that administration of full life cycle of assets is carried out. Ensures adherence to information security standards and identifies associated risks Education & Experience Background in an IT-related discipline or equivalent practical experience. Strong technical foundation in system configuration, testing, and integration. Skilled in creating reports and communicating technical insights effectively. 2/3 years in a technical IT role, including support for technologies like Active Directory, Windows OS, MS InTune, MECM, M365, and Connected Laptop solutions. Experience in regulated environments, managing third-party suppliers, and supporting operational tasks aligned with team goals. Proven ability to prioritize multiple initiatives, provide guidance to colleagues, and contribute to continuous improvement.
