As we continue to grow, we are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead and optimise both commercial manufacturing operations and the introduction of new products, including clinical and regulatory batch production.
The Manufacturing Operations Manager will also be a member of the cross functional Xeolas Management Team who are responsible to implement the Company Strategic Plan to achieve our ambitious business goals. This is a key role supporting Xeolas’ commitment to innovation, quality, and excellence in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Reporting to the Operations Director, the Manufacturing Operations Manager will have the following
Key Responsibilities: Managing day-to-day operations of commercial production lines ensuring efficiency, productivity, and compliance with GMP and safety standards.
Leading and developing a high-performing production team in a GMP-compliant environment.
Drive technology transfer and scale-up from development to manufacturing in partnership with R&D as part of a companywide team during R&D manufacture, new product introduction and commercial launch readiness.
Overseeing the manufacture of clinical trial materials and registration batches to support regulatory submissions in alignment with project timelines.
Collaborating with the management team to implement and drive company targets and initiatives.
Key Skills / Experience Requirements: Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
5+ years' experience in GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Proven experience managing commercial production lines with a strong understanding of new product introductions, regulatory submissions, and tech transfer is essential.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
