Secretary to the CEO

Location: Balbriggan, North County Dublin
Salary: From €43,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Secretary or Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to the CEO of a growing creative business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, varied environment and excels at building strong working relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for the CEO, managing correspondence, emails, and meeting requests.

Coordinate meetings and events, ensuring the CEO is fully briefed and that key actions and outcomes are tracked.

Maintain and manage a busy and dynamic calendar, proactively resolving scheduling conflicts.

Support product and project review processes, ensuring deadlines, feedback, and priorities are well managed.

Provide comprehensive administrative support, including travel arrangements, expenses, and document management.

Maintain accurate filing systems (paper and digital) and ensure information is organised and accessible.

Oversee office management duties, liaising with facilities teams and supporting HR-related tasks such as annual leave management.

Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

About You

Relationship-focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Highly organised and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities.

-

Proactive and self-motivated, with a “can-do” attitude and strong problem-solving skills.

-

Tech-savvy, with strong computer literacy. Experience with Google Workspace and Monday.com (or similar tools) is an advantage.

-

Collaborative team player who can also work independently.

-

Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role (Executive Assistant or Secretary), ideally within a creative, publishing, or SME environment.

This role is office-based in Balbriggan, North County Dublin.

Some flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate meetings with international partners.

Candidates must have valid work authorisation for Ireland.
