Cpl Healthcare is seeking applications for the role of Day Service Manager for their Co. Tipperary based client.

The service provides residential, respite and day services for adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities, promoting and supporting independent living and community integration, personal development, and work opportunities for people attending the Service.

This is a full-time permanent post, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Central to this role will be to support best practices in delivering high-quality, person-centred services and supports in line with New Directions and the company’s policies, ethos, and values. The post holder will manage all aspects of the daily operational delivery of the day services, providing professional leadership to ensure high-quality, person-centred services and monitor service quality to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.

To be considered for the role, the following criteria will apply:

1. Relevant 3rd level qualification equivalent to level 7/8 in health or social care or nursing background.
2. Recognised Management/Leadership Qualification to a minimum QQI Level 6.
3. 5 years post qualification experience in a similar setting with evidence of leading services & supervising teams in the delivery of person-centred supports.
4. Knowledge of New Directions and the EASI tool.
5. Previous experience of managing staff and working within allocated resources.
6. Previous experience in supporting individuals who present with Challenging Behaviour.
7. Previous experience of legislation relevant to the role e.g. Health and Safety, Employment legislation etc.
8. Evidence of motivational and leadership skills.
9. Holds an up-to-date, valid Irish Driving License.
10. Eligibility to work in Ireland.
