Who we are
Medica Ireland is an Irish owned award‑winning radiology services provider employing over 180 staff members in Ireland alone. We deliver managed service solutions to public and private hospitals, and have direct‑to‑patient services in MRI, Ultrasound, CT, DXA, Obstetrics and X‑Ray. We are a clinically led, patient focused organisation with industry experts including radiologists, radiographers, sonographers and midwife sonographers. Our proven track record shows improvement in access for patients through the resolution of traditional radiology bottle necks and workflow inefficiencies, while simultaneously reducing costs for the hospital.
Requirements
- Strong administrative skills (1 to 3 years and preferably in a healthcare environment)
- Dynamic personality with a willingness to consistently learn new things and upskill
- Real team player
- Strong communication skills
- Good knowledge of Office pack, especially Excel and SharePoint
- Excellent phone manner
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and to multitask

Key responsibilities
- Managing inbound and outbound phone calls and covering the phones when need be
- Owning the scheduling process for the clinics you will be in charge of:
- Scheduling patients
- Sending appointment reminders
- Optimizing the appointments
- Rescheduling patients when applicable
- Managing the appointments activity trackers
- Liaising with clinical staff when applicable
- Managing referrals
- Meeting scheduling targets
- Help with different shared email boxes
- Ensuring excellent customer service to our referring hospitals and practices
- Daily checks
- Basic reporting work
- Ad hoc administrative duties as required
