
Digital Solution Area Specialists

- You will engage in conversations with customers aligned to their industry and collaborate with account and partner teams to drive and qualify new opportunities and build pipeline.
- You will leverage digital selling, including digital signals, to drive customer interests and identify new stakeholders at the customer.
- You will identify customer business and technology readiness, proactively build external stakeholders' mapping, implement strategies to accelerate deal closing, contribute input on strategies to drive and close prioritized opportunities, coach junior team members in deal plan execution, and implement close plans.
- You will accelerate opportunities from the Lead stage to closing the deal successfully in alignment with our key security partners.
- You will apply the role orchestration model and navigate the Microsoft organization to maximize impact for the customer.
- You will collaborate with Global Partner Solutions (GPS), identify new partners, develop joint proposals, and contribute to partner strategies.
- You will leverage and share competitor knowledge across solution areas as a subject matter expert to inform pursuit or withdrawal decisions.
- You will lead conversations and organize events within Microsoft, mentor others, develop best practice sharing strategies, initiate conversations with prospective customers/partners at events, and act as a subject matter expert in one or more solution areas.
- You will collaborate with 'compete' SMEs internally to analyze competitor products, solutions, and services, implement strategies, and drive project execution. You will also work with other teams on related deliverables and leverage relevant work streams.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated technology-related sales or account management experience.
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field AND technology-related sales or account management experience.
- Fluency or business-level proficiency in German.
- Experience in a quota-carrying sales role with accountability for forecast and financial outlook.
- OR equivalent experience.
