This is a critical leadership position responsible for driving commercial performance in the Car Rental Supply and Insurance domains. The successful candidate will own the supply commercial strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth, cost efficiency, and insurance profitability.
The leader will be accountable for delivering an Advanced Car Rental Supply Commercial Strategy, aligning with business objectives and Partner Trading Squad goals. This involves setting and managing P&L performance targets, optimizing supplier unit margin enhancement, and maximizing commission and rebate revenue performance across the supply base.
A key aspect of this role is the development of a strategy for enhanced insurance profitability and optimization of insurance performance KPIs. The leader will work closely with the Insurance Lead and Partner Trading P&L Leads to enhance or rectify performance, supported by a cross-functional Insurance Performance Forum.
The Supply and Insurance Performance Leader will also act as the business function commercial lead and representative with the Revenue Management teams to make active choices on Car Supplier and Insurance product pricing, content management, marketing funds, loyalty campaigns, CRM campaigns, digital marketing, sort optimization, supplier marketing initiatives, etc. to achieve P&L targets.
Critical skills required for this position include data analytics & financial modelling, commercial acumen, negotiation skills, cross-functional leadership and collaboration, strategic program design, people leadership and performance management, influence and stakeholder communication, and self-starter attributes.
