Accounts Receivable Specialist

A dynamic team is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their ranks. This role will be a key part of the team focused on delivering better nutrition for every step of life's journey.

This specialist will play a crucial role in managing customer relationships, ensuring timely payments, and providing exceptional customer service. They will be responsible for handling collection calls, communicating with business units, and monitoring aged debtors.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Managing key accounts and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Serving as a liaison between the SSC and Business Units to ensure prompt payment of debtor accounts.
  • Communicating with business units on account queries from debtors and internal departments.
  • Monitoring aged debtors and coordinating with the Business Unit to optimize collections.
  • Reporting on KPIs to commercial and finance teams.
  • Coordinating month-end processes.
  • Performing credit checks for new customers and reviewing existing customer credit limits according to the Group Credit Policy.
  • Maintaining accurate records and adhering to all department and company policies.
  • Providing ad-hoc analysis, projects, audits, and other tasks to support the business.
  • Assisting the Credit Controller with team needs.
The Skills You Will Bring to the Team
  • A business-related qualification is desirable.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in an accounts receivable or credit control role in a multinational environment.
  • Knowledge of billing and collections processes.
  • Strong communication skills in fluent English, clearly conveying information to colleagues and customers.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in handling large data reports.
  • Strong Excel skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working with large debtor ledgers is desirable.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, such as SAP, is desirable.
